You need to collaborate with a classmate (2 students per group) and carry out an analysis of a corporation/SBU demonstrating a holistic understanding of the organisation and its environments as well as demonstrating your skills in strategic analysis and planning. You can structure your assignment as follows:
First part: (2000)

- Analysis of the internal and external environment of the corporation/SBU and identify the strategic challenges that it is facing (Collaborative work)
Second part: (2000)
- Identification discussion and evaluation of the future strategic options available to the corporation/SBU, recommendation of a future strategic direction (Individual work).
- Conclusion (Individual work)
Each of the two students will be individually assessed for the second part of the assignment (Identification discussion and evaluation of the future strategic options available to the corporation/SBU, recommendation of a future strategic direction) as well as the conclusion, presentation and structure of the assignment
Both students will be collaboratively assessed for the first part of the assignment (Analysis of the internal and external environment of the corporation/SBU and identify the strategic challenges that it is facing ) as well as for the introduction and executive summary of the assignment.
The assignment should be written in an executive report format using headings and sub-headings for explanation and analysis.
